about the shows, where it is going, and how I like it!
Well let me start out by saying I have done a couple parties but still want to do more then I am doing. I love doing the parties. I had my first official party right after receiving my kit. I did enjoy doing that one but it showed me things I wanted to do different for the next one of think about when booking someone. I had a second one that a few of my friends came to but that it wasn't really an ordering party. It did however loosen me up for future shows!
Just this past week I had a show at a friends house with a pretty good turn out. In general the party went smooth and the orders were nice enough to get all her items for free. the only thing she ended up paying for was her hostess exclusive (they are like 65% off retail) and shipping and tax. Her order would of been over $80 but it ended up costing 26! and 5.95 is the shipping so she received 80+ in retail at $20!! That is why it pays to host! Also she has four bookings for her! that mean if all four hold there party in the next 6 months and have at least 150 in sales (very easy to do) She will get an item at 65% off and $160 in free stuff!!
I think last night made me happier then ever in doing what I do. As an IBA's we encourage each other and ourselves to educated are selves every day on sexual or relationship's issues. Last night while talking to a friend with out even thinking about it I helped her figure out some stuff going on with her that before now I couldn't of done. Plus I was able to help two of my Friends find items that fit there need, many people buy with out thinking about what they really want out of an item. It felt great to be able to help people smile. As ducky says we as IBA's are not just "toy ladies" we are sex educators... Along that same line Sex is not just about penetration... that will be a topic another night! Love you all!
