Not everyone cheats, but a lot of us do. According to a 2006 report on sexual behavior by the National Opinion Research Center, nearly a quarter of married men and 13% of married women have had an affair. But there's more to infidelity than you think. The truth may surprise you.

Just about sex
Not so, says Scott Haltzman, MD, a clinical professor at Brown University and author of ''The Secrets of Happy Married Men.' Cheating can occur on an emotional level without any sexual contact. Friendship becomes emotional infidelity when there is an emotional intimacy, sexual tension and is kept secret or outside the marriage, says Dr. Haltzman.

People cheat because they've fallen out of love

"Few affairs begin because one person feels like they no longer love their spouse or partner," says Dr. Haltzman. "They may not be happy at the moment but it doesn't mean there isn't any love." Reasons for cheating often point to other issues in the relationship, such as the husband needing an ego boost from a woman not his wife, or the wife looking for more attention than she gets at home.

People cheat only with hotter, younger people

If Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are any indication, the unfaithful don't necessarily gravitate to the hotter, younger. An affair is often rooted in a void in your current relationship, says Matt Titus, a relationship expert and author of 'Why Hasn't He Called?' "You cheat because you're looking for what your spouse or partner doesn't have." For example, some cheaters are blind to looks but bedazzled by wit, wealth or intelligence.

Once a cheater, always a cheater

"When you learn by loss, you see repercussions for your actions," says Titus. A reformed adulterer from his first marriage (which ended in divorce), he says he's felt the consequences of his infidelity and matured emotionally from the experience. He's now remarried. "I was given a second chance. I would never cheat on my wife, so once a cheater, always a cheater is not always true."

A marriage can't withstand cheating

"An affair doesn't have to be a death knell to a relationship," says Dr. Haltzman. "It can be a wake up call instead." If you look on the bright side, an affair can be a springboard to open a dialogue via counseling sessions to discuss the underlying problems in the relationship. "A marriage or relationship absolutely can withstand cheating."

One-time cheating is no different than an affair

"It is different," says Rhonda Fine, PhD, a clinical sexologist and diplomate of The American Academy of Clinical Sexologists. "One-time cheating still breaks a bond of trust in your relationship, but affairs are much more emotionally vested than a one-night stand." In both cases you've disrespected your partner and marriage vows, but ongoing affairs could be worse, as they often lead to emotional intimacy.

Women don't cheat

Oh yes they do, corrects Dr. Fine. "As women are more involved in the workforce and travel on business trips, they encounter more situations which make them prone to cheating." Plus, Dr. Fine says women bond more easily than men. "When they work closely with men, they feel more emotionally vested in the relationship."

Men cheat because they're not getting enough at home

There are a variety of reasons why people cheat, and it's not always about the sex, says Dr. Fine. "People cheat because they're selfish, immature or narcisstic. Or they're excitement junkies and attracted to the drama. They put their needs ahead of others and rarely blame themselves why they cheated in the first place."

A midlife crisis = cheating

The thing about clichés, like graying hair and convertibles, is that most are based on fact. But a midlife crisis is much more. In an online poll produced by Wisconsin Public Radio, more than half of the respondents said that a midlife crisis is a "very real, gut-wrenchingly depressing experience." Some men hit middle age and have affairs. Others, however, start drinking too much or become clinically depressed. That's when it's time to seek counseling.

Cheaters don't want to get caught

Quite the contrary, notes Dr. Haltzman. "People may actually set it up so the spouse or partner find out. Whether it's lipstick on the collar or emails left open on the family computer, we leave our fingerprints everywhere. Oftentimes, "it's a cry to say 'I need to get help.' Some people make it obvious because they want to stop but don't know how."

What do you get for doing a catalog party?

As a person doing a catalog party you will receive hostess credits like you would as if you hosted a at home party. The credit chart is listed on page 110 of the catalog.
I personally do two extra things for catalog parties’ because the people are not able to play the games and win prizes that we do at a home party. Along with hostess credits the person doing the catalog party will receive a FYP goodie bag from me. One of their ordering people will also be selected to receive a FYP goodie bag.
**This is dependent on it being a qualified party ($150 in sales or more)**

How do you do a catalog party?

Sharing your copy of the catalog with your friends and family is how you do a catalog party. Some people are not comfortable attending or hosting a home party or just does not have the time. This is a great way to earn free products with out having to plan an actual physical party. However you can use a catalog party to boost sales for your up coming home party! With a Home party you and I would discus a day you we would close the party. This means that all orders and payments must be given to me on that day so that all items can be order and shipped.

How do I fill out the orders and keep them confidential?

Even though people may say they do not mind if others know what they order it is important that all orders are kept confidential! I will provide you with order sheets and tell you how they are to be filled out. Allow you friends and family to fill these out and place them along with their payment into an envelope that can be sealed.
If at any time you or them have a question I will be available just call or email me. I will answer questions about products, taxes, how to fill things out or just general inquiries.
Shipping charges are a flat rate. The customer pays 8.95 for shipping to their house (or where ever they need it shipped to) or 5.95 to the Hostess house. Your home or designated shipping area would be the hostess place. I will talk more about the shipping soon. Taxes are based on the town the items are being shipped to.

Where and when will the items be shipped?

Items can be shipped to the designated Hostess/Host shipping address or to the person’s individual location. Shipments will come UPS so they cannot go to a P.O. Box. All shipments are shipped discreetly! Don’t worry no big box is going to be on your doorstep that say sex toys! When items are shipped to the hostess location they will be sent together but packaged separately with just the customers name. They do not have to worry about you seeing what they ordered. Any items shipped to the Hostess location you will be responsible to getting to them in a timely manor. Items will arrive 1-2 weeks after the party is submitted. (I will provide package tracking dates and info if you would like)

How are people allowed to pay?

People are allowed to pay with Cash, Check, money order or credit card. If paying with Check or money order it must be made out to me, Jennifer Day. As for a credit card they MUST sign the order form and provide the code from the back of the card. Any one paying with check must know that there will be $25.00 bounced check fee (plus any added fees their bank charges me) on any returned checks!!

How will I know what my credits earned are if the orders are confidential?

The most important thing for you to do is fill out your wish list. This will be the items you would like to order. (Include at least one Hostess exclusive). When you provide me with the orders I will double check all payments and orders and be able to tell you exactly what your hostess credits are and what specials you qualify for. I could go over this over the phone with you or in person. This way we can go over your order and if there are any items you are purchasing out side of your free products I can give you your exact total.

Can I get booking credits for catalog parties?

YES!! If any of the people who order from you indicate that they would like to do a home party or a catalog party you DO receive booking credits. Booking credits are also outlined on page 110 of the catalog. All parties must be held with in 6 months of the original party and be qualifying in nature ($150 in sales or more) Each booking credit can be redeemed separately or held till all bookings are completed (holding them cuts done on shipping cost as when done individual they have separate shipping) You also can get credit for booking your own party! If you hold a second party in 6 months that counts as one of your booking credits!!

Do catalog parties have the same benefits as home parties?

YES!! You are eligible for all the same credits and specials as a home party. The only difference is you do not have the physical gathering where I provide items for you and your guest to feel, touch, taste and learn. I will however, be reachable for all your friends and family to answer any questions!! Home Parties are ALOT of fun and I recommend hosting or attending one if ever possible, (I do have many that are open invites) but you do not have to have one to earn free products! I will also provide you will items I give home party hostesses to boost your sales, such as the hostess raffle. Even non-ordering guest can participate in the raffle! You get a sheet of 50 boxes; each box is $2.00 however much is raised is then raffled off as a shopping spree! The amount from the raffle is also credited to you, as the hostess, as retail credit so it has a major boost to your hostess credits! In each box they purchase you just put their name and phone number. Please keep raffle money separate from order money, as it is not taxed!

Home Party Info

Who can have a home party?
Absolutely any one!! At FYP we do not discriminate against any sexual preference, life style, or gender. I can do Ladies only parties, couples parties, mixed singles, Gay, lesbian, themed (Bridal shower, birthday, what ever) or men’s parties.
The only requirement is that ALL people are over 18! I am not legally allowed to do a home party with minors there. This includes toddlers and infants. I know that many people feel that they would not understand and it would be fine but it IS NOT ALLOWED!!! Sorry rules are rules and I do not want to be charged with aiding to the delinquency of a minor!!
Once you decided that you want to have a home party contact me so we can book your date and I can send you out your host/hostess packet!! ( I do have a post outlining the Host/hostess credits!)

How many people should be invited to a home party?
As many as you can! Over invite. When you invite tell them to bring a friend. A lot of people get nervous that they wont be able to fit everyone but the majority of the people you invite that say they will come probably will not attend. Plus there are plenty of ways to get a big crowd to work in small places. The more people that attend and purchase the more free stuff you will receive!!!

What do I have to do before the party?
There are a couple of small things that I will need to be able to do your home party. I will need a table such as a card table large coffee table or kitchen table to set up my display and items to show you and your guest. It is also important that there is a separate room or area where I can do the orders confidentially. Even though everyone may be friends but I must have an area set aside. Some people feel more comfortable with out others knowing what they order (shipping is discreet also). This also allows you or your friends to ask questions about stuff that they may not be comfortable asking in a group. If there is a certain area or issues you would like me to address specifically please inform me a head of time so that I can provide you with information or items in that area.

What should I tell my guest when I invite them?
Let them know that this is an adult party. (They cannot bring ANYONE under the age of 18!!) We sell a variety of items from Bath & Body to Sex toys and accessories. I would not want any of your guests to be caught off guard and offended by the items at the party. Please inform them also that while I will be there to educate and entertain your guest this is a way for me to make a living. Remind them to come prepared to shop. Expectable forms of payments are cash, charge, check, or money order. Items do range from a couple of dollars up to $200.

How should I prepare for my guest?
Each party is different. Many people have some chips, dips and small items with drinks but it is not necessary to do so. Please remember that when you plan the food/drink for your parties that you will be handling items so try to keep it to non-messy items. Also some Alcoholic beverages are good for some crowds but we also do not want you guest to be stumbling all over them selves… If you would like I can provide you with some “sex themed drinks” =]

I have to share a situation that made a friend of mine almost fall of his chair.....

Setting front desk of a closed non-profit agency.... One female Friend is sitting at her desk doing paper work i am sitting in front of her talking about my new kit items. ( I happen to have them with me at the time)

Across the office another friend (male) is sitting at a computer typing in his paper work.....

As I am sitting with my female friend i show her my NEW Anal beads. I take them out and they had a small smell of mint to them lol. So I walk up to our male friend and go "hey smell this" not looking he does and goes what is it?" I answer "My anal beads...."

Then he jumped and laughed so hard he almost feel over!!

about the shows, where it is going, and how I like it!

Well let me start out by saying I have done a couple parties but still want to do more then I am doing. I love doing the parties. I had my first official party right after receiving my kit. I did enjoy doing that one but it showed me things I wanted to do different for the next one of think about when booking someone. I had a second one that a few of my friends came to but that it wasn't really an ordering party. It did however loosen me up for future shows!

Just this past week I had a show at a friends house with a pretty good turn out. In general the party went smooth and the orders were nice enough to get all her items for free. the only thing she ended up paying for was her hostess exclusive (they are like 65% off retail) and shipping and tax. Her order would of been over $80 but it ended up costing 26! and 5.95 is the shipping so she received 80+ in retail at $20!! That is why it pays to host! Also she has four bookings for her! that mean if all four hold there party in the next 6 months and have at least 150 in sales (very easy to do) She will get an item at 65% off and $160 in free stuff!!

I think last night made me happier then ever in doing what I do. As an IBA's we encourage each other and ourselves to educated are selves every day on sexual or relationship's issues. Last night while talking to a friend with out even thinking about it I helped her figure out some stuff going on with her that before now I couldn't of done. Plus I was able to help two of my Friends find items that fit there need, many people buy with out thinking about what they really want out of an item. It felt great to be able to help people smile. As ducky says we as IBA's are not just "toy ladies" we are sex educators... Along that same line Sex is not just about penetration... that will be a topic another night! Love you all!

Just getting started

I am just starting out with selling the For Your Pleasure, Inc. products and doing the home parties. I was really nervous that I would not be able to find anyone interested in this area but... I was wrong. I am already getting request for info and lining up parties. I will admit I have been calling and emailing Pascale a lot, she is the one that is guiding me with all of this. She has given me a lot of information and help already!! I am very excited to get this all going. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or topics you would like me to address. If I do not have the answers to something right now you can bet your bottom dollar I will get them straight away for you!
I do have a few things going on right now. I will be attending a meeting NYC on the 22nd, I will be bring two girls who also may be joining the team. I have a party planned for Sunday Nov. 30th in poughkeepsie. The Hostess is a very good friend of mine and we will actually be hosting it at my house. The party is set to start at 6 I would estimate it will be 1 1/2 hrs-2 hrs depending on how many people decide to come. My hostess has asked me to put an invite out for others to come to her party. This party is not a "couples" party but we are inviting men and women. Please let me know if you are interested in attending. I also have a party set for Dec 6th. This party I believe is not an open invite but I will check with the hostess. That party will be a couples party and be held in the Fair Field CT area. We also have one set for Friday Dec 12 in Hype park, This one will be an open invitation but women only. I have another one planed for Jan 9th the time and location is not nailed down yet. Please Contact me to attend an open invite party or set one up for you to Host.
My basic availability to do parties is any night during the week and any time on the weekends. If you would like to do a party but need a time I can not do let me know and I will find you an IBA that can do your party. I also do offer to let my hostess host at my house if due to living situations they can not host in their own home. If you need or want any other info PLEASE CONTACT ME!!

My view on selling sex toys!

I know a lot of people would be way to bashful to ever consider selling sex toys. Anyone that knows how I am can tell you this is not a shocker for me! I love to be with people and socialize. I would say I have a very sexual orientated mind.... I can turn almost any thing into a topic about sex. Life is to stressful any more and I needed an "OUT". How can you not smile when you are dealing with sex toys??? This is a way for me to make money doing things that I like and escaping from regular day to day life. Being a IBA to me is a chance to get out here meet new people, socialize, make money, and educate myself and others. Each person has their own preferences and taste when it comes to sex. The products that are available address all the styles and wants. It is all about enjoying life isn't? The reason I love the idea of selling these items is because in some way I am helping someone make them selves or someone else smile. You can buy a gag gift and make someone laugh or buy something to use with your partner to make them or both of you feel good. Also treat your self. In life sometimes we need to make our own smiles and that is fine.... hell some times they are the best ones!! I will be filling you all in on the stuff I like or don't like as I go, I am sure the things I don't like will be far and few, If you ever want to join and start selling just let me know!!
